Jax Border Collie Adult Male in High Point, North Carolina

My story
Hello my name is Jax! I found myself in a kill shelter after my dad lost our house and we had no place to go. He could no longer take care of me so he took me to the shelter. I sat and waited for what seemed forever for someone to come get me. I seen dogs come and go and I'm not sure if they found their new home or if it was their last day and they went to that dreaded room down the hall from where I was. After waiting and waiting I heard the people who fed and walked me say it was my last day and I was really scared. I had just given up home and knew nobody was coming. They took me to another building and the next morning came to get me. A nice lady was in the lobby and said I was going home with her. I was so excited and hung my head out the car window on the drive and was all smiles. My foster mom in TX plays ball with me, let's me sleep in her bed, feeds me several times a day and let's me lay on the sofa to watch television with her. I have other doggie friends to play with as well. I love to run and play ball and would benefit from a fenced yard and maybe someone who was active and liked to jog. I have never had an accident in the house and use the doggie door to go outdoors. I am a fast learner and catch on fast to new things. I also do not chew on things other than my toys and I'm not a marker. I am 4 years old and look like a lab mix of some sort. I'm partial to females and want to protect them so my rescue thinks I seen something bad happen by a male at some point in time or either a male was not very mice to me. Will you plwease share me to help me find my forever home? If you are interested in adopting me, please contact Amber at (832) . I am located in Houston TX in a foster home.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Jax, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
