Jolie is a young 15# purebred, probably around two years old, who is great with other dogs, enjoying playing, wrestling and running around with them. We think she may not have had the greatest life before coming into rescue since she was frightened of being surrounded by strangers when she first arrived. She is improving all the time and, when she is with the many people (men and women both) here that she is comfortable with, she is a delightful, happy, snuggly little sweetheart! When she is uncertain about someone, she will try to back away and hide and might bark a bit to let them know she is scared. Jolie would do best in a home with another small, sweet dog to play with and show her the ropes. She may continue to be a bit picky about her human friends; however, she will take treats from strangers, is food motivated, and does fine when strangers are respectful and dont pressure her to be petted. She needs a family that will not force her to be sociable, but will just let her be around people in a relaxed atmosphere so she can gain confidence. No kids, please. Adoption donation $150.
